2. Act 1: The Rising Conflict & Opening Confrontation

The episode opens with the villagers arriving at Dev’s location carrying various items. Dev looks confused and asks the villagers what all these brought items signify. The villagers nervously reply that these items are bribes. They humbly request Dev to provide electricity to their houses in exchange.

Instead of getting angry, Shristi steps forward and introduces an ingenious moral choice. She declares that if the villagers come one by one and confess to Mishri’s unborn baby that stealing electricity from the Kallari Health Centre is correct, and that giving bribes is acceptable, they will get their electricity connections immediately. Dev fully supports Shristi’s clever psychological tactic.

Johala Chap’s Honest Confession and Emotional Breakthrough

Johala Chap steps up first to take the bizarre test. He looks intently at Mishri’s baby bump. Overwhelmed by moral conscience, Johala Chap admits that stealing electricity from the Kallari Health Centre is entirely wrong. He states that he simply cannot lie while looking straight into an innocent unborn child’s future.

Next, Vandana attempts to speak directly to the unborn baby. However, she breaks down emotionally, choked up by thoughts of Mallar being cradled safely inside her womb. The villagers finally relent. They agree to take legal electricity connections. However, they place one condition before Dev: he must not pressure them regarding the water connection immediately and must grant them adequate time.

Dev and Shristi graciously agree to the reasonable condition. The villagers instruct Johala Chap to contact the local electricity department right away before departing from the scene.

3. Act 2: Shocking Revelations & Emotional Turmoil

Johala Chap immediately rushes to meet Masaan Baba. He hands over the official electricity connection form. Johala Chap warns Masaan Baba that all the other villagers are securing legal electricity. He adds that if Masaan Baba refuses to fill out the form, he will be left completely isolated without power.

Masaan Baba flies into a fit of rage after hearing this news. Feeling cornered and desperate, Masaan Baba immediately dials the local minister. He pours out his frustrations regarding Dev and Shristi’s growing influence over the village. Masaan Baba gloatingly informs Johala Chap that Dev is now going to face intense political heat and pressure to flee the village.

Jia’s Observation and Dev’s Cooking Adventure

Back at the health center, Jia watches Dev and Shristi closely. She approaches them and remarks that they make an exceptional team together. Dev expresses genuine gratitude to Shristi for her invaluable help in resolving the crisis. Jia smiles bitterly and tells Dev that if he truly wants to thank Shristi, he must do something special to make her feel cherished.

Dev accepts the playful challenge. He proudly announces that he will cook a special meal himself. Shristi raises an eyebrow, mocking his culinary skills. She asks him how on earth he plans to manage in the kitchen. Dev challenges her to guide him step-by-step, and Shristi agrees with a warm smile.

4. Act 3: High-Voltage Climax & Turning Point

Meanwhile, the villagers actively coordinate with the electricity department staff to finalize their legal power connections, marking a rare administrative victory for Dev. Inside the kitchen, Dev fumbles with utensils while following Shristi’s instructions. Shristi tastes the final dish and praises Dev for his surprising cooking talent.

While sharing this lighthearted moment, Jia enters the kitchen, recording everything on her mobile phone. Jia makes a heartbreaking remark. She states that if Dev and Shristi are still together next month, they can watch this joyful recording together. If not, she will watch it alone in sorrow. Jia storms off, leaving a heavy silence behind.

Dev instinctively moves to follow Jia and console her. However, Shristi firmly stops him in his tracks. Shristi delivers a reality check, advising Dev that leading Jia on with false hope is cruel. She insists that Jia must finally accept the bitter truth that their romantic relationship has permanently ended.
